History and what to see in Andratx (while you rent a bike)
Andratx grew inland, away from open-coast pirate raids. The old core is Es Pantaleu: narrow streets, the So Na Gaiana tower and the Sa Planeta mill. Son Mas, a former possession with a medieval tower, is now the town hall. Santa María church marks the centre.
On Wednesdays the weekly market fills Passeig de Son Mas: local produce, clothes, crafts. Many guests rent an e-bike or a road bike after the market and ride down to the Port or up toward Capdellà without a car.
